Shortly after killing Roshan at around minute 19, Parivison positioned to take the opponents' T2 safelane. Their Nyx, sitting in the trees, scouted a lot of TPs. With that information plus their Grimstroke not being present, they slowly and eventually completely backed off.

After this occurrence, for Radiant to retreat from the T2 safelane, the map feels small and scary. They have to move forward into the map. As for Dire, the map is big and they can safely go backwards towards a lot of farm.
To play for efficiency again, Radiant have to split. And because they don't have TPs, their options are low. And that puts them in a vulnerable spot. Parivision were likely aware of that. And because they see where the opponents are, they notice that the Tidehunter was a killable target. So even if they had slightly retreated, that signaled them to go back in.

Notice that their big spells were on cooldown. From this perspective, that can often feel like a disadvantage. But the move they did, backing off after forcing reactions, created a numbers' advantage, which got them an important kill on the frontliner. From this play, they were able to easily get the tower without putting themselves at risk.
The timing of this play was crucial. They needed to aware and ready to go back in just in time to get the Tide. And after, since getting more kills required too much chasing, they focused back to what they came for, the tower. They did all of this within the cooldown duration of their opponents' TP scrolls.
The vision they got from the ward gave them information on what they see but also on what they don't see. And it played an important role in this play. They didn't actually see what the Luna did. But from seeing the 4 other heroes, it was possible to make a guess. Tide was farming the jungle and Puck was killing the mid wave. Luna likely wanted to farm as well. The camps near Parivision were too dangerous to take, especially alone. So the probable direction she would go to is towards the tricamp and further, which is what happened.
When high networth heroes aren't present or capable of being present in a fight, that gives you a pretty big advantage. And being able to create situations like these, instead of settling for a 50/50 fight, is how you reliably snowball a game.
